The DentalEZ Group released its latest utility room offering at the recent Greater New York (GNY) annual dental meeting in New York City, the company announced.
The new RAMVAC Badger is a lube-free, waterless alternative to wet ring or aging dry vacuum systems. It is a dry vacuum unit designed to replace most traditional water ring pumps.
Intended for up to three users, the Badger is lightweight, flexible, and compact with a footprint of 18 x 22 x 25 inches, according to the company. It is compatible with existing plumbing as small as Âľ inch and as large as 2 inches in either rigid or flexible PVC.
The Badger's lube-free rotary vane vacuum pump includes a 5 gallon separation tank and is protected by RAMVAC's exclusive five-year no-fail, no-wear-out pump warranty. The system provides maintenance reminders every 2,000 hours and has an auto shutdown feature that ensures the longevity of its rotary vanes.
The system has no traps to clean or maintain, and the unit provides quiet operation. In addition, the Badger maintains consistent vacuum levels when one or more high-volume evacuation (HVE) systems are used, the company noted.
The Badger recently received an Eco-Dentistry Association (EDA) Accepted Status Seal.
