PeriOptix is launching its newest portable LED headlight, the Solaris, at the California Dental Association (CDA) meeting in San Francisco, September 9-11.
The Solaris is a mini portable headlight system and the smallest and lightest dental headlight system on the market, according to the company.
The headlight is about the size of a dime in diameter, weighs less than 6 grams, and delivers 40,000 lux of illumination to the operative field. Its power pack contains a removable and rechargeable lithium ion battery that provides more than seven hours of constant illumination before needing to be recharged, according to PeriOptix.
