DentalEZ Group has expanded its StarDental line of electric handpiece systems with the introduction of the NuTorque Lite. A modified version of DentalEZ's NuTorque programmable electric handpiece system, the NuTorque Lite is "the perfect economical option for the dental professional seeking a less aggressive entry point into utilizing an electric handpiece system," the company stated in a press release.
The new handpiece system is an ideal choice for dental professionals to perform general dental practice procedures and basic endodontic procedures, the company noted.
Product features include:
- Two customizable memory presets for general and endo procedures
- Speed, gear ratio, and forward/reverse direction settings
- Universal E-type motor coupling that accepts seven different NuTorque attachments
- Adjustable light intensity
- Autoclavable, brushless motor that is extremely compact and lighter (6 inches, weighing less than 76 grams) than existing electric motors on the market, according to the company
