The ADA Foundation is raising funds throughout August to benefit patients with physical, medical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities.
Donated funds will be used to provide grants to nonprofit organizations that improve oral healthcare access for patients with special needs, including those with autism, Alzheimer's disease, Down syndrome, and spinal cord injuries.
The ADA Foundation hopes to raise at least $125,000 from the dental community during the month. In addition, the Henry Schein Cares Foundation will match every dollar donated up to $125,000.
