Oral Health America (OHA) and Trident are expanding the 10th anniversary celebration for the Smiles Across America (SAA) program by giving consumers a way to help provide dental care to underserved children.
During the week of September 15, every pack of Trident gum purchased at U.S. retailers will spur a 5¢ donation to the SAA program, up to $200,000.
An original sponsor, Trident has supported Oral Health America's SAA program for the past 10 years by donating more than $2 million to help underserved kids receive dental care, according to OHA.
"Trident is committed to the advancement of oral healthcare and proud to support OHA and SAA to impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of children across America," stated Megan Sullivan, brand manager for Trident, in a press release. "Through the Trident sales drive week, we are giving people an easy way to help us on the mission to provide essential preventive dental care to kids in need."
"We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Trident in this landmark anniversary year and continue to bring necessary oral healthcare and education to children through SAA," OHA President and CEO Beth Truett stated in the release.
