Align Technology will release SmartTrack, the next generation of its Invisalign clear aligner material, on January 21.
SmartTrack is a proprietary aligner material that delivers more constant force to improve control of tooth movements with Invisalign, according to the company. It is intended to be the new standard Invisalign aligner material for Invisalign clear aligner products in North America, Europe, and other international markets.
The flexible SmartTrack material is designed to more precisely conform to tooth morphology, attachments, and interproximal spaces to improve control of tooth movement throughout treatment and to make it easier to insert and remove aligners, and it delivers improved patient comfort, the company noted.
