Milestone Scientific will provide Towncare Dental Partnership with its Single Tooth Anesthesia (STA) system through a new distributor agreement that covers all of Towncare's dental offices in Florida.
The instruments will be rolled out to Towncare's offices over the next four months, and Milestone will provide training and support to each office, according to the company.
Towncare Dental is a growing dental practice management company with locations throughout Florida. Towncare plans to open an additional 30 practices over the next three years.
"This agreement with Towncare is a significant milestone for our company, marking what we expect to be the first of several agreements with regional and national dental practices throughout the U.S.," said Leonard Osser, CEO of Milestone, in a press release. "This sales strategy involves deploying a professionally trained group of independent hygienists whose objective is to educate our dental customers about our instruments, and also provide them unsurpassed service."
The Milestone hygienists assist the company's distributors in their respective territories, providing added support by attending trade shows and networking with other dental professionals, he added.
