Craniofacial organization myFace will hold a virtual kickoff celebration on Sunday, September 19, at 10 a.m. ET for its ninth annual Races for Faces.
Although the event has traditionally been an in-person 5K walk, Races for Faces was held virtually in 2020 for safety reasons and will once again be a virtual event this year. The fundraising and outreach event is designed to celebrate differences, promote acceptance, raise funds, and bring awareness to the craniofacial community, according to the organization.
Last year, more than 380 participants and 60 teams participated in Races for Faces. The organization raised $230,000 for the craniofacial community, myFace said.
