Dental equipment manufacturer Dentsply Sirona and the Foundation for Endodontics will award three scholarships this year for aspiring endodontic specialists.
Current second- or third-year endodontic residents are encouraged to apply. The application period is open until Friday, March 15.
Eligible applicants must be postgraduate residents of programs accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation in the U.S. or Canada. They must also be permanent residents of the countries and have a GPA of 3.1 or higher in dental school and endodontic residency. The application process entails submitting an online application, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, and documentation of tuition and fees.
The scholarship is a joint project from Dentsply Sirona and the Foundation for Endodontics. Dentsply Sirona has pledged to donate $150,000 annually to the foundation. According to the ADA, the average amount owed after graduation is approximately $300,000.
