Hundreds of dentists, exhibitors, and researchers flocked to San Francisco for the 2016 American Association of Endodontists (AAE) annual session. The meeting, which took place from Wednesday, April 6, through Saturday, April 9, included research presentations, speaker sessions, and product demonstrations.
Below are some of the highlights from the 2016 annual session.
At the entrance of the exhibition floor, the AAE member center provided conference attendees with endodontic information pamphlets, as well as a place to rest.
Maha Alghofaily, DDS, a second-year endodontics resident at the University of Maryland, presented a poster on research about statins and the healing of periapical lesions following nonsurgical root canal treatment.
The Pac-Dent booth displayed some of the company's recently launched Pac-Taper rotary files. The files are available in .04 and .06 taper and ISO tip sizes 15-60.
