Dalhousie University administrators allowed a culture of "sexism, misogyny, homophobia, and racism," according to an independent report commissioned after several fourth-year dental students made sexual Facebook posts concerning their female classmates. Dentists do not have to be technology geniuses to get the best out of digital tools, according to Dr. Frank Higginbottom during his presentation at the recent 2015 Academy of General Dentistry meeting in San Francisco. In the session, Dr. Higginbottom gave an overview of various digital technologies, including cone-beam CT, intraoral scanners, 3D printing, and CAD/CAM software.
