Levin on efficient scheduling, Madow Bros. on improving email; McKenzie on collections

Dear DrBicuspid Member,

Scheduling is one of the most significant indicators of how your practice is functioning. An efficient scheduling system ensures a steady flow of patients and production throughout the day. Dr. Roger P. Levin shares ideas that will help you create the best schedule for your practice.

The Madow Brothers ask: Are your patients opening your emails? Are you getting enough return from this important tool? In their latest column, they offer five good reasons your patients might not be opening your emails and offer specific ideas to help improve your open rates.

Are your collections at 98%? If not, practice management consultant Sally McKenzie has some practical tips to increase your practice's collection ratio, including some you probably haven't thought of before.

Despite the cold temperatures, I'm looking forward to this week's Chicago Midwinter Meeting. What are you looking forward to at the meeting? We'll be bringing you coverage this week and into next from Chicago.
