The chief dental officer for the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced his resignation to join an insurance provider.
Lynn Douglas Mouden, DDS, MPH, will join Avesis as vice president, dental director in October. He has served as the chief dental officer for CMS since February 2012.
Avesis is a vision, dental, and hearing benefits provider that was acquired by Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in 2015.
