Cigna reported an increase in both total revenues and the number of dental customers for the fiscal second quarter of 2017.
For the quarter (end-June 30), the company reported total revenues of $10.3 billion, an increase of 4% from $9.6 billion in the first quarter of 2016. The number of dental customers increased to 15.8 million from 14.9 million from the same quarter in 2016.
The company noted that premiums and fees increased 3% in the first quarter of 2017, compared with the same quarter of 2016.
