The recently approved acquisition of insurer Humana by fellow insurer Aetna will benefit the California Dental Association Foundation (CDAF).
As part of a negotiated commitment from the California Department of Managed Health Care, the foundation will receive $3 million in "community investment funding" over the next three years, according to the CDAF. The money will be used for the foundation's CDA Cares program and for scholarships.
