Delta Dental of Colorado has hired Cheryl Lerner, DMD, as its new vice president of professional services.
Dr. Lerner's responsibilities will include leading the company's provider network initiatives and supporting educational efforts.
"A former practicing dentist myself, I understand the opportunities and challenges facing dentists," Dr. Lerner stated in a press release. "I look forward to partnering with dentists throughout the state ... and to supporting efforts to promote quality oral health for the 1.3 million Coloradans insured by [the company]."
More than 3,000 practicing dentists have contracted with Delta Dental of Colorado, making it the largest network in the state.
