The ADA is seeking volunteers for a committee to consider approval of its Systematized Nomenclature of Dentistry (SNODENT) as an American national standard, according to an ADA News story.

Qualified volunteers for the committee should be interested in or materially affected by SNODENT, which was developed by the ADA Council on Dental Benefit Programs as standardized oral health terminology.
The ADA Department of Standards will administer the committee, which will review, comment, and vote on whether SNODENT should be forwarded to the American National Standards Institute for approval as a standard.
