Federal investigators and the Georgia attorney general are investigating several Atlanta-area dental clinics for allegedly submitting hundreds of thousands of dollars in fraudulent Medicaid filings.
The Care Dental Clinics in Doraville and Duluth are under investigation for Medicaid fraud, according to a story by WSB-TV.
The office filed a Medicaid claim for a 12-year-old patient who received 20 fillings during a single visit, according to court records. The owners allegedly funneled the Medicaid funds into investment properties around Atlanta, WSB-TV reported.
