MetLife introduces PDP Plus network

MetLife has introduced PDP Plus, an expanded dental preferred provider organization (PPO) network.

The new network features more than 215,000 participating dentist access points and is MetLife's largest PPO network, offering access to more than 70% of dentist practice locations in the U.S. based on MetLife claims data, according to the company. By offering more participating dentists and greater flexibility to employees, PDP Plus is designed to help control overall plan costs and reduce participants' out-of-pocket costs.

MetLife is making the PDP Plus network available immediately to most employers with fully insured dental benefit plans, and is an optional selection for self-insured customers.
