Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee has decided to withdraw a proposal that would have removed dental coverage for adults on Medicaid in light of improved state revenue forecasts, the Boston Globe reported.
Gov. Chafee noted in January that changes in several budget-cutting proposals were possible if revenue projections changed. The state government is expected to see an increase of tens of millions of dollars over this fiscal year and next, the article stated.
