Lincoln Financial adds 173K new provider locations

Lincoln Financial Group has expanded its Lincoln DentalConnect preferred provider organization (PPO) network to include 173,000 provider locations across the U.S.

The expanded provider network adds a 32% increase to Lincoln Financial's nationwide network of dentists.

In addition to the provider expansion, Lincoln has also implemented new technology that improves its dental claim management initiatives, according to the company.

Lincoln Financial's technology upgrades include a new claims risk management tool to assist plan administrators and members with the rising costs of insurance. The tool will help Lincoln Financial optimize its dental claims payment accuracy through advanced claims review and validation, improved data analysis, enhanced clinical review of claims, and provider utilization monitoring, the company said.
