Delta Dental of North Carolina is partnering with similar Delta Dental companies in six other states to expand the North Carolina company's scope and consolidate costs.
Delta Dental of North Carolina has joined a holding company that includes the Delta Dental companies in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, and Tennessee. Collectively, this enterprise administered dental plans covering nearly 8 million members and posted $2.3 billion in revenue in 2010.
In addition, Delta Dental of North Carolina has selected a new president and CEO, Curtis Ladig. Ladig was previously vice president, chief operating and financial officer, and treasurer for Delta Dental of Kentucky.
Currently, Delta Dental of North Carolina provides dental coverage to nearly 130,000 North Carolinians through more than 200 group contracts.
