Lincoln National has expanded its group dental insurance offerings with the launch of Lincoln DentalConnect DHMO, a dental HMO option now available in California, Florida, and Texas.
"As one of the major providers of dental benefits, we're committed to offering employers and brokers quality group dental choices," said Sandra Callahan, senior vice president of Group Protection Operations, in a press release. "We are very pleased to expand our selection of expert dental service options to employers with employees located in California, Florida, and Texas."
With the new Lincoln DentalConnect DHMO plan, employers in these three states can offer their employees both the DHMO plan option and Lincoln's preferred provider organization (PPO) plan. In addition, flexible payment options can be offered as employer- or employee-paid.
Other features include online group administration and online dentist locators, the company noted.
In California, Lincoln DentalConnect DHMO is underwritten by Dental Benefit Providers of California. In Florida, it is underwritten by Solstice Benefits, and in Texas, it is underwritten by National Pacific Dental.
