The state of Washington has reduced Medicaid dental care as a way of addressing its budget deficit.
Effective July 1, 2010, dental providers can no longer be reimbursed for providing some restorative services to clients of the Department of Social and Health Services and can only be reimbursed for providing most kinds of sedation to clients of the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
