Phoenix real estate agents say they have noticed a rise in the number of dental office properties up for sale in the city, according to a news story from the Arizona Republic.
"You've got a lot of dentists who paid a lot for their location, and now they're having trouble," said Scottsdale real estate broker Bret Isbel of GPE Commercial Advisors in the story.
The executive director of the Arizona Dental Association told the paper that, even though his office does not track dental office closures, times have been especially tough for dentists, with many patients putting off dental work that isn't essential.
