Dentist lands $2 million singing contract

If you have ever dreamed of pursuing a passion that does not involve drilling and filling, take heart. A London dentist recently signed a $2 million, four-album contract with recording giants SonyBMG, according to a BBC story.

Andrew Bain, 35, has been practicing dentistry and singing amateur opera for 10 years. The recording company has signed him for operatic renditions of pop songs, according to the BBC story.

"I'll miss my patients but glad I won't have to use the drill anymore," he told the BBC. "It's not the best part of dentistry for dentists or patients."
