Phyhealth Plan, a subsidiary of Physicians Healthcare Management Group (Phyhealth) has signed an agreement with Argus Dental of Tampa, Fla., to provide dental services for its pilot HMO scheduled to be launched in the latter half of 2008.
Phyhealth develops community-based HMOs that are owned and operated in partnership with participating physicians.
"Argus' network consists of over 1,500 dental providers throughout Florida that have been credentialed according to the standards set forth by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services," said Robert Trinka, chairman and chief executive officer of Phyhealth. "Argus' stringent screening process helps ensure that only the best dentists in the business are accepted into the plan."
