Eastern Dentists Insurance Company (EDIC) has introduced the EDIC Life Cycle plan, designed to enable professionals to buy the right dental malpractice insurance from the start of their career to its end.
When it comes to practicing dental students and dentists close to retirement, dental malpractice insurance needs will differ greatly, the company noted in a press release. That is why EDIC created the EDIC Life Cycle: to ensure that dental practitioners are appropriately insured throughout the changes they will go through over the course of their careers.
The Life Cycle plan provides coverage for dentists starting at the student level, then moves on to new professionals, owners, mature practitioners, and retirees.
