It has been several months since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, and things are still very uncertain. Uncertainty is a breeding ground for many emotions, including fear, anxiety, and even anger. Having these emotions while you're running a busy dental practice is not ideal. However, you're human, and being upset is sometimes unavoidable. Always be sure to acknowledge your feelings and deal with them.
Reach out to others. With everything going on with COVID-19, there are times when you might feel down. The best thing you can do is surround yourself with people who are caring and willing to listen. Try having a frank conversation with a trusted family member, friend, or coworker. You will almost always feel better.
Don't forget why you do what you do. How do you maintain a positive attitude every day during the COVID-19 era? The answer is to remember your higher mission and calling. Dental practices improve the lives of patients, eliminate pain, and create better health. Never forget the wonderful contribution that you're making.
