Healthcare growth and engagement company CareCru has launched a virtual solution to check in and check out dental patients.
The Virtual Waiting Room was designed to meet social distancing requirements, so practices in the U.S. and Canada can safely reopen. The solution prompts patients to reply "Here" to a text message when they arrive at a dental practice, which in turn notifies the dental staff of their presence. The staff can then use the solution to notify the patient when it is safe to enter.
CareCru will launch the Virtual Waiting Room in more than 425 Dentalcorp dental practices in Canada. It is also working to debut a contactless payment solution in May.
