A woman in Ohio was arrested for striking an employee and ransacking a dental exam room, forcing the space to be shut down to patients. An argument over dental services triggered the violent outburst, according to news reports.

Tamar Maple was arrested on February 19 and charged with felony vandalism and misdemeanor charges of assault and disorderly conduct for striking an employee and trashing a patient exam room at Kenmore Family Dental in Akron. She was sent to the county jail, according to reports.

The 33-year-old went on a rampage after she became enraged during an argument with an employee over services. She struck the employee and then allegedly damaged a computer and a dental drill. Maple also allegedly threw various items around the office before fleeing the practice, reports stated.

Sheriff's officers arrested Maple at her Akron home after conducting a short investigation.

She caused so much damage that the practice had to close the exam room to patients, according to reports.

The estimated cost of the damage had not yet been determined. The extent of the employee's injuries was unknown, as well as whether the practice had to reschedule patients due to the disruption, according to reports.
