Police have arrested two people at Delta Image Makers in Houston for allegedly practicing dentistry without a license, according to an October 22 article by ABC13 News.
The "fake" dentists, Carolina Flores-Paz and Enrique Alvarez, admitted to offering dental services to many patients at their clinic. Flores-Paz claimed to have had dental training in Honduras, though neither of the practitioners had U.S. licenses.
The arrest resulted from a sting in which an informant and an undercover officer received offers for dentures at the clinic from Flores-Paz, according to the article. Both Flores-Paz and Alvarez have been released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
