Practices can stand out by building strong relationships with patients and letting them know that they are the office's No. 1 concern. This requires that you and your staff make time to get to know your patients in a personal way. When you do, your patients will see that they're at a practice that truly cares for and about them.
Display pictures of family members and friends around the office. Patients will feel closer to the doctor and team members if they get glimpses into your personal lives. Family portraits, snapshots from vacations, and other little tokens of your world away from the practice will strengthen personal bonds with patients and increase their satisfaction with the practice.
Don't forget to gather personal facts to build stronger relationships. Every time patients come in, team members should try to learn more about them, such as hobbies, interests, etc. Shared with other staff members. This information can be used during future visits to move the relationship from strictly professional to more personal.
