CHICAGO - Henry Schein and health technology company Simplifeye have debuted a new smartphone application for the Dentrix practice management platform at the 2017 Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
The Simplifeye application pushes patient information, including appointment type, name, and allergies, from Dentrix to Apple watches and iPhones. The platform alerts staff members that a patient is ready to be seen with a buzz on the wrist, as well as keeps track of how long patients have been waiting.
Simplifeye is the first product to be launched from Henry Schein's Global Innovation Center. Henry Schein created the center in 2015 with the goal of launching new solutions with innovative technologies and business models.
The Simplifeye smartwatch and iPhone application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store. From the app, dental professionals can subscribe to use the software through Henry Schein Practice Solutions.
