The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) announced that Executive Director Quinn Dufurrena, DDS, JD, will step down.
Dr. Dufurrena will pursue new ventures in the health sector and continue to support the ADSO as an industry spokesman and advocate, according to the organization. During the transition, the administrative and supervisory functions of the association will remain in Arlington, VA, under ADSO's chief operating officer, Lauren Rowley.
Dr. Dufurrena, ADSO executive director since 2014, was previously the executive director of the Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA).
The ADSO now has more than 40 member companies and 100 industry partners in the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the U.K.
