Daniel D. Crowley has been named the executive chairman of Premier Dental Services, the parent company of Western Dental.
Crowley is currently the chairman, president, and CEO of Dynamic Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare-focused consulting and investing firm that he founded almost 20 years ago. Through his work with Dynamic, Crowley had led dental companies in practice management.
"I'm very excited to be working with the team at Western Dental to optimize quality, service, and value for patients," Crowley stated in a press release. "Western Dental has a terrific value proposition, an enviable footprint, and great potential to grow and prosper."
The appointment comes soon after the announcement that Western Dental would stop accepting new patients enrolled in California's Denti-Cal dental Medicaid program.
