E-prescribing firm DoseSpot announced that dental software provider Ace Dental has successfully integrated the DoseSpot dental platform into its software.
Integrating the DoseSpot platform with Ace Dental's software offers dentists the ability to route e-prescriptions to the patient's pharmacy of choice after automatically checking for any drug-drug and drug-allergy interactions, according to DoseSpot.
Following Surescripts certification, Ace Dental also successfully completed an Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS) integration review by the Drummond Group. Ace Dental dentists can now e-prescribe controlled and noncontrolled prescriptions to more than 65,000 pharmacies nationwide.
