Members of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) unanimously supported the idea at the most recent World Congress in New York City. More than 50 head and neck societies in 53 countries will be participating in the event, which seeks to raise awareness about head and neck cancers and also to promote early diagnosis, prevention, and continuing medical education.
