Forward Science is now offering a SmartFilterID camera filter with the purchase of the OralID, an oral cancer screening device that uses fluorescence technology.
OralID uses a blue light (435-460 nm) that allows clinicians to identify oral cancer, precancer, and other abnormal lesions at an earlier stage.
The SmartFilterID allows clinicians to acquire clinical images while using a smart device, including iPhones or Android devices, according to the company.
Forward Science has also extended the OralID's warranty to two years.
In addition, the OralID now comes with a free, live hour-long personal training session that includes how to use the device, oral cancer facts, recent trends, how to speak to patients, and proper oral health protocol and billing. The company also offers free lifetime support.
The OralID is the only screening device that requires no disposables.
