A Saudi Arabian court dismissed a lawsuit filed by a man with throat cancer against a tobacco company because there was no clear-cut evidence that his cancer was caused by smoking, according to a report by Emirates News.
The man was seeking $10 million in damages.
"Moslem scholars have established that if someone gives poisoned food to a man and tells him about the poison, then there should be no punishment of the one who provided the food," Judge Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Husseini said.
