LED Medical Diagnostics has completed the acquisition of Apteryx, a software development company.
The purchase price was $10.25 million, according to the company.
The founder and CEO of Apteryx, Kevin Crucs, will join LED in an unspecified senior leadership role, the company announced.
The acquisition will allow LED to offer both software applications and dental imaging hardware. Apteryx's products include XrayVision, XVlite, and XrayVision DCV, as well as the XVWeb cloud-based PACS and DICOM server.
