LED Dental has amended its distribution agreement with Henry Schein and will now sell its VELscope Vx product directly to customers.
"While we are grateful for the valuable assistance and exposure provided by Henry Schein during an important period of the VELscope Vx's business development, we believe that our marketing and distribution efforts will be more profitably conducted through a variety of channels," said LED Founder and CEO Peter Whitehead in a press release.
Henry Schein will continue to support VELscope Vx by supplying existing customers with VELscope consumables and continuing to service the large group practice client base, Whitehead noted.
