OCO Biomedical gains Health Canada OK for implants

Dental implant manufacturer OCO Biomedical has received approval from Health Canada for the sale of class II dental implants.

OCO Biomedical is now permitted to market and distribute its Dual Stabilization dental implants, as well as the placement instrumentation (class III devices) throughout Canada.

The company obtained International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485 and CE Mark certifications for approval to sell in Europe and other countries in October 2010.
