Summit Dental Clinics has decided not to go through with its acquisition of Royal York Dental Plaza, the company announced.
Summit Dental and Royal York entered into a letter of intent last September. However, "based upon our due diligence, this particular acquisition would not be suitable for our business model at this point in time," Summit stated in a press release.
Toronto-based Summit said it is in the process of identifying, and continues to focus its objectives on acquiring, clinics in Canada to provide management and operational services, marketed under the name of Summit Dental Clinics.
Royal York Plaza Dental is an established practice operating for approximately 20 years within the community. The clinic features three operatories and has a hygiene program in place.
