Inventory management solutions provider Zimbis has integrated its system with Open Dental, an open-source dental practice management software solution.
The purpose behind the integration is to enhance dental practice management by combining inventory control with patient care, Zimbis said in a press release. The integration offers real-time inventory management through Zimbis' interface and enhances control over controlled substances with double-locked containers and automated logging. Additional new features include automated supply replenishment, enhanced analytics, and improved regulatory compliance, according to Zimbis.
