Nutraceutical firm Designs for Health has launched PerioBiotic Silver, a fluoride-free probiotic toothpaste.

The toothpaste contains Kalident, a nanohydroxyapatite, purified silver, coenzyme Q10, grape seed extract, and Dental-Lac, a strain of Lactobacillus paracasei.
It contains no sodium lauryl sulfate or saccharin, and it is free of BPAs (bisphenol), parabens, synthetic colors, gluten, dairy, and synthetic sweeteners. It is available in spearmint and lemon flavors and can be purchased online from the company.
