LED surgical light company Enova Illumination has debuted its Axis LED light with Activ battery system, which is the first LED light system to pair a clip-on magnetic light with a wearable neckband battery, according to the firm.

Using a 2.5x magnification at a distance of 14 inches, the Axis light illuminates a uniform 4-inch spot field. It's made of lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum and can withstand frequent cleaning and disinfecting procedures, Enova said.
The Activ battery rests around the neck and eliminates head weight and strain. It's also equipped with touch technology that allows the user to control three brightness settings. The magnetic attachment can be affixed on most face shields and directly mounted to most loupes, the firm said.
The Axis LED light with Activ battery system is available in colors including blue, pink, green, and silver.
