Dental equipment manufacturer Planmeca has debuted a new cone-beam CT (CBCT) unit at the 2019 ADA FDI World Dental Congress in San Francisco this week.

Image courtesy of Planmeca.The Planmeca Viso G5 CBCT unit includes four built-in cameras for live patient positioning and the company's ProFace and 4D Jaw Motion technologies for advanced diagnostics. The system has an unlimited field-of-view from 3 x 3 cm to 20 x 17 cm with a maximum single scan volume of 20 x 10 cm.
Orders can be placed now for the unit, with delivery expected later in 2019, according to Planmeca.
