Water Pik has announced a voluntary recall of its new Sonic-Fusion combination toothbrush-interdental cleaner.
The device's charging base may overheat with localized melting and sparking, possibly causing fire, shock, or burns, the company stated. This recall only applies to the Sonic-Fusion SF-01 and SF-02 products, not to other Water Pik devices.
Water Pik advised those who have purchased the product to stop using it, unplug the device, and return it to the company. A product-return phone line has been set up at 1-800-674-7718. Those wishing to get more information from the company can also do so by emailing [email protected].
