Owandy Radiology has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its I-Max 2D wall-mounted, panoramic digital radiography unit.

It also comes with 24 programs to allow for a full range of both adult and pediatric examinations, including right or left hemipanoramic views, frontal definition, maxillary sinus examination, and more.
The unit comes fully assembled for easy installation, according to the company.
Owandy will feature the I-Max 2D system at the upcoming Greater New York Dental Meeting in November.
